He was predeceased by : his parents, William Lawens and Margaret Lawens (Berg); his wife Glenna K. Campbell; and his siblings, Ruth (John), Vada (Roy) and Richard (Helen).
He is survived by : his son Mark Lawens. He is also survived by many cousins and nephews.
