It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved James Ward of Muir, Michigan, who passed away at the age of 85, on January 6, 2021. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Ward and Alice Ward (Wiggins); his sons, Bruce and Dennis; his granddaughter Melissa Hunter; and his siblings, Blanche Kruger, Jean Smith, Donna Ward, Margaret Cunningham, Max Ward, Robert Ward and Leon "Buck" Ward.
He is survived by: his wife Cherlyn Ward; his children, Donna Schafer (Tim) of Muir, Brenda Porter (Bob) of Manton, Ron Ward of Lansing, Robert "Red" Ward of Hubbardston, John Ward of Hubbardston and Anthony Ward of Carson City; and his stepsons, Michael Hunter of Ionia and Anthony Hunter (Tammy) of Lyons. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and their children and grandchildren.
Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, the Church is limited to a capacity of 90 people.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church or the Hubbardston American Legion Post 182.
