She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald McClees and Elvie Hanson; her husband Gerald Richard Houtman; and her brothers, Eric McClees (Jody) and Rusty Sornon.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard Dean Houtman and Timothy Allen Houtman; her grandson Aaron Houtman; and her siblings, Gerald McClees Jr. (Karen Sootsman), Sharon Woody, Sheila Rogge (John) and Loretta Bezara (Michael). She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
