She was predeceased by : her parents, Ira and Maudie Douglas (Bain); her husband Ralph; her grandson Derek Shetterly; her brothers, Willard Douglas, Herbert George Douglas (Myra) and Joseph Ruben Douglas (Ann); and her brothers-in-law, Robert Gundy (Wanda), Laverne Tanner and Melvin Jensen.

She is survived by : her grandchildren, Andrew J. Shetterly (Torie), Michael Jay Hannum (Caitlyn) and Amanda L. Helsel (Mike); her great grandchildren, Dennis "Andy" Helsel, Eleanor Joylynn Helsel and Theodore "Teddy" Helsel; her sister Elease Johnson; and her sister-in-law Eleva Jensen.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 17th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bridge Bible Church (3777 Holton Rd, Muskegon, MI 49445). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 17th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
