It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph A. Wathen in Muskegon, Michigan, who passed away on January 18, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joseph A. Wathen to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Roy Wathen and Lilly Wathen (Berry); his wife Dorothy Schweihofer; and his children-in-law, Grace Wathen and Robert Grima.

He is survived by : his children, Theresa Szura (Michael), Margaret Castillo (John), Mary Henman (Roger), Christina Doherty (Richard), Rita Smyth (Gerald), Joseph Wathen (Wendi) and James Wathen (Diane); and his brother John Leo Wathen. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren.
