He is survived by: his grandchildren, Alyssa Simmons (Kyler), Jack Crampton, Alicia Petersen and Amanda Pham; his great grandchildren, Asher Simmons, Finley and Harper Petersen; his former wife Linda Feil Malmquist; and his close friends, Thuy and Dung Nguyen.
