With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Maxine Schoonfield (Muskegon, Michigan), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 14, 2025 at the age of 93. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gustave Frank Meier and Pearl Ann Smith. She is survived by: her children, Terri Myrmel, Robin Vriesman (Mark) and Michael Schoonfield (Serina McClees); her grandchildren, Brook, Jamie, Jeremy, Joshua, Dustin, Jeffery, Nathan and David; her friends, Shirley Welkoske and Sally; her son Jeffery; her boyfriend Donald E. Carrier; and her brother Rodney Meier. She is also survived by many loving great-grandchildren.
