She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Harry Simpson and Elsie Simpson (Winn); her spouse Thomas R. Merritt; and her grandchildren, Gabe, Jill Cottrell (Gerry) and Brett Merritt (Becky Ray). She was also cherished by many grand children and great-grandchildren.
