He was predeceased by: his wife Susan; his brother Erik Nigro; and his parents, Louis and Mary. He is survived by: his children, Louis Nigro (Laurie) and Lisa Kosalski (Robert); his grandchildren, Andrew, Anna Nigro, Tyler and Jacob Kosalski; and his sisters, Charlotte Senulis and Mary Jean Florio.

Due to the COVID 19 situation, there will be a private funeral service for the family.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Selfridge Military Air Museum.
