He is survived by: his wife Kris Yost; his sons, Joey Yost and Kyle Yost (Heather); and his siblings, Martin Yost (Stephanie), Melonie Juffer (Jeff), Michael Yost (Leda) and Monica VonSeggern.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations for a memorial wrestling mat at Anchor Bay South Middle School.
