She was predeceased by : her parents, Everett Truman and Vera Mae Skaggs "Truman" Murad; her stepfather Mike Murad; her son Richard Evans, Jr.; her grandson DJ Elkins; and her brother Steve Truman.

She is survived by : her husband Richard Evans; her children, Rhonda Elkins of Saint Alban, WV, Russell Evans (Sheri) of Michigan City, IN, Frank Evans of Chesterton, IN and Caleb Evans of New Buffalo, MI; her brother Everett Dubb of Saint Albans, WV; and her grandchildren, Merrick, Savannah, Christina, Sonny, Dane, Marissa, Courtney, Kasey, Lucy and Jack. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren; and a host of cousins, in laws, aunts, church families and friends.
