She was predeceased by : her parents, Isaiah Thomas and Verdie Mae Pitts; and her grandsons, Sebastian Nesbitt and Mitchell Nesbitt. She is survived by : her children, Kimbly Nesbitt (Chris Zebell) of New Buffalo and Kehinde Nesbitt of Bridgman; her siblings, Vicky Pitts of Union Pier, Glenn Pitts of Long Beach and Frank Pitts of Dewitt, Arkansas; her aunt Gertrude Smith of Union Pier; and her niece Nikki Martin of Union Pier. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren; one great grandchild.
