He was predeceased by : his parents, Ted and Pat; his brothers, Tony and Keith; and his stepdaughter Marleigh Riggs.

He is survived by : his daughter Lindsey Burgess; his stepchildren, Tawnya Chaide, Melissa Riggs, John Riggs, Josh Riggs-Easton and Lucas Gonzalez; and his siblings, Ted Stone (Linda), Alice Schmidt, Phil Stone (Laura) and Quinn Stone.
