It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rhodora Maxine Sloan of New Era, Michigan, born in Shelby, Michigan, who passed away on November 3, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Dale Jarvis and Eunice Jarvis (Robertson); her husband Warren Sloan; and her siblings, Betty Jarvis Rundle, Dale Jarvis Jr., Warren Jarvis and Ward Jarvis.

She is survived by : her stepchildren, Tressa Kentner (Dan), Debbie Firedrich and Rick Sloan (Lori); and her sister Zella Simmons. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
