She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Belcher and Retha Belcher (Baber); and her siblings, Lawrence "Andy" Belcher, Bonnie Sackett and Marie "Midge" Mogg.
She is survived by: her husband Elden Wayne Whalen; her sons, Elden Wayne Whalen Jr. of Newberry, John Whalen (Elizabeth) of Coden, AL, James Whalen (Jennifer) of Newberry and Joseph Whalen (Jackie) of Newberry; and her siblings, Dolly Fox of Marquette, Joanne Block of Anderson, CA, Shirley Dunkeld of Mt. Pleasant, Albert "Butch" Belcher of Livonia, Gerald "Jerry" Belcher (Debbie) of Romulus, Donald Belcher of Newberry, Ronald Belcher (Darlene) of Brighton and Charles Belcher (Cathy) of Brighton. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
