She was predeceased by : her parents, Alford and Leona Johnson (Brunet); her husband Mike Pekkanen; and her siblings, Sue Taylor, Jean Sayles, Arlet Norden, Helen Martin, Peter, Neil and George Johnson.

She is survived by : her friend Lucille; her children, John Leonard (Brenda) and Linda Wass (Dudley); her grandchildren, Evan, Alex, Angie, Dudley and Kyle; and her brothers, Pat and Harry Johnson.
