With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nancy Lee Whalen of Newberry, Michigan, born in Eaton Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on September 23, 2021 at the age of 74. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Nancy Lee Whalen to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Edward J. Merchant and Phyllis N. Merchant (Hill); her husband Walter Whalen; and her son Richard "Rick" Whalen. She is survived by : her children, Louanna Lawson (Jeff) of Charlotte, Buck Whalen (Cheryl) of Eaton Rapids and Jody Lannoo (Peter) of Canton; her siblings, Sandra Fast of Charlotte, Sue Valora of Charlotte and Aggie Robertson (Neal) of Eaton Rapids; and her daughter-in-law Nancy Whalen of Holt. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
