It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vernard N. Olson of Newberry, Michigan, born in Harrietta, Michigan, who passed away on September 8, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Nels Olson and Goldie Olson (Mercer); his brother Aldon Olson (Glenna); and his siblings-in-law, Michael Flint, J. D. Littlejohn and Donna Stampfler.

He is survived by : his wife Patricia Stampfler of Newberry; his son Gregory of Grand Rapids; his granddaughters, Katie Olson of Washington and Rachel Olson of California; his sisters, Arlene Flint of Cadillac, Emma Payne (Fred) of Florence and Clara Harold (Lloyd) of Glenwood, Iowa; and his siblings-in-law, Ann Littlejohn of McMillan and Jerome Stampfler of South Lyon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Due to the present gathering restrictions due to COVID 19, a friends and family gathering will take place at St. Gregory Catholic Church in Newberry on Tuesday September 22, 2020 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
