He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Bassett and Marjorie Bassett (Baumgardt); and his brothers, Ron Bassett-Smith and Jeffrey Bassett. He is survived by: his sisters, Marsha Thornton (Mike Simpson) and Paula Durren (Mike). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and many great nieces and nephews.
