With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rose Zehner of Niles, Michigan, born in Mishawaka, Indiana, who passed away on January 11, 2021 at the age of 77. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Robert and Sarah Shoemaker, Sr. (Brown); her siblings, Nancy Wogoman, Priscilla Young, Chuck Shoemaker and Robert Shoemaker, Jr.; her children, Rick Garrett of Phoenix, Terry Garrett (Kay) of Austin, Danny Garrett (Loretta) of Niles, Ronnie Garrett of Niles and Krystle Zehner of Niles; and also, Marvin L. Garrett and Joy Dell of Niles. She was also cherished by four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 15th 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hope Community Church (2390 Lake St, Niles, MI 49120). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 15th 2021 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Friday, January 15th 2021 at 12:14 PM at the Mission Hills Memorial Gardens (61453 M-51, Niles, MI 49120).
