We are sad to announce that on December 10, 2020, at the age of 83, Kathleen Mary Briggs of North Muskegon, Michigan, born in Muskegon, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Howard Francis Carney and Lavinna Fern Carney (Zerlaut); her husband Nelson George Briggs; her daughter Colleen; her siblings, Dorothyea Shaffer and Howard "Jim" Carney; her children, Chris Sr. (Cynthia), Jill Lacy and Coleen; her grandchildren, Chris Jr. (Melissa), Nathan, Adrienne (Carl III) and Paul; her stepgrandchildren, Meredith (Brodie), Adam (Megan) and Jacqueline (Elijah); her great grandchildren, Nathan Jr., Nikolai, Hali, Walter, William and Felix; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Keegan, Apollo, Lumen and Millicent.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation to Fifth Reformed Church of Muskegon Mission fund.

“Spending a good share of my childhood at the Briggs home, hanging out with Colleen and the family, I remember Aunt Kathy as someone who loved and was devoted to God and her family.
