Vivian L Rude Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vivian L Rude (North Muskegon, Michigan), born in Muskegon, Michigan, who passed away on December 30, 2017, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by : her children, Jiroch St, David Rude of Los Gatos, Ginger Rude Mongiello (Kate O'Neill) of Taos and Barbara Rude Roberts (Andrew) of Canada; her grandchildren, Syri Mongiello, Risa Haddal (Chad), Adam Rude (Sheena), Eric Rude (Tracy), Monica Rude (Jack McLean), Hugh Roberts (Joannie Dube) and Neil Roberts; her great grandchildren, Haakon Haddal, Christian Haddal, Oliver Rude and Lydia Rude; her child Vivian; and her nieces, Donna Rude, Mary Michelson and Linda Schoof. She is also survived by friend recently described her as "…that incredibly beautiful, smart, funny, witty, strong woman I was so proud to call 'My Vivian.'" Not only did her own kids share their lives candidly with her, but many of their friends treasured her as a confidante and thought of her as their "other mother." Viv had various cats through the years, but her dog Nika, a Siberian Husky, was her beloved companion.
