He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Steele and Bernice Steele (Paige); and his sister Delores Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Sherri L. Walton; his children, Robin Steele-Moore (Chris), Jason Walton, Jessica Foster and Janiva Walton-Sargent (Derric); his grandchildren, Kani, Caldwell (Jaida Moore), Jaceon (Jaiden Walton) and Jaelin Scrivens; and his brothers, Tommy Steele (Ethel), Charles Steele (Louise), Robert Steele (Jacque), Larry and Jerry Steele.
Due to social distancing and COVID-19 restrictions, private family services will be held.
Contributions in memory of Mr. Steele may be made to Port City Youth Football.
