He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon H. Taylor and Esther M. Taylor (Long); his wife Barbara A. Hein; and his siblings, Doriss Shavalier, Deanna Steinberg and Lanny Taylor.
He is survived by: his son Sam Taylor; his grandson Jared Taylor (Katie); his sisters, Marjorie Smith, Shirley Plamondon (David), Janet Strieder and Charlene Foy; and his close friend Beverly Dykema.
