She was predeceased by : her son Jeffrey Kahl; her siblings, Don Smith, Ron Smith and Winona Pierce; and her parents, Clarence Smith and Edna Smith (Saeger).

She is survived by : her husband Robert F. Raby; her daughters, Wendy Lovens (Gary) and Julie Kahl; her daughter-in-law Sharon Kahl; and her stepchildren, Marcia Reithmiller (Clifford), Phillip Raby (Sonda), Mark Raby, Doug Raby (Sandy), Eric Raby (Mel) and Elaine Worsham (David). She is also survived by 45 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Contributions in her memory are directed to her granddaughter, serving as a Missionary in Mexico, c/o New Heights Baptist Church (John and Neola Wynne Mission) at 1816 Klug Drive, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46818 or the Fellowship Baptist Church Mission Fund c/o 3200 Reed Road, Clark Lake, MI 49234.
