She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Margaret Shaughnessy; her grandparents, Elizabeth and Thomas McGuire; her husband Richard "Dick" Gaffney; her parent Francis Shaughnessy; her mother-in-law Vivian Gaffney; her children, Michael Gaffney (Jeanne), Colleen Gaffney (Darin Sizemore), Daniel Gaffney (Anne), Patrick Gaffney (Kimberly) and Joseph Gaffney (Carol); her grandchildren, Megan (John Paul Regan), Sean (Katie Venegas), Molly (Jordan May), Katie (Tyler Stauch), Mikey (Natalie Stiles), Shane, Margaret (Michael Knox), Tara, Vivian, Owen, Sydnee (Kyle Klocko), Andrei, Ian, Jean and Colin; her sister Joan; and her brother-in-law John Hipple Sr.. She was also cherished by 10 great grandchildren.
