He was predeceased by: his parents, Annette Cecilia (Lucas) and Stanley Francis Carlton; and his sister Mary Carlton. He is survived by: his close friend Thomas Gilliam; and his siblings, Michael Carlton (Maureen), Teresa Lind and Linda Szedely.
