He was predeceased by : his parents, George Smith and Roberta Smith (Barker); and his brother Larry Smith. He is survived by : his wife Cindy Smith; his children, Jeffery Smith (Kathi) of Olivet, Timothy Smith (Becky) of Olivet, Jarrod Smith of Olivet and Stacia Smith-Temple (Paul) of Bellevue; and his brother Greg Smith (Mistell). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made in Terry's memory to the Wounded Warrior Project, 230 W. Monroe St. Chicago, IL 60606.
