He was predeceased by : his parents, Gerald Gilbert and Velma Gilbert (Benaway); his former life partner Ann; and his siblings, Frank, Norma Hall and Mary Lou Schleben.
He is survived by : his wife Kay Gilbert of Onaway; his children, Annette Gilbert of Onaway, Tom Gilbert (Donna) of Jeddo, Kurt Gilbert (Julie) of Prudenville and Jeff Delor of Onaway; his grandchildren, Jessica, Megan (Bryan), Mary, TJ, Krystal, Kary, Heather (David), Austin, Owen, Devin and Sidney; his sisters, Darleen Ormsbee of Cheboygan, Eileen Wenzel (Gene) of Rogers City and Elaine Wenzel of Onaway; and his sisters-in-law, JoAnne Turner (Paul) of Florida and Mary Ellen Regina of Utica. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.
