He was predeceased by : his parents, Marie Schneider and Arthur Schneider; his siblings, David and Shirley; his sisters-in-law, Doris, Sue, Kathy and Shryl; and his son-in-law Allan Valpredo.

He is survived by : his wife Mary Schneider (Compau); his children, Lee Schneider (Susan), Anna Valpredo, Mary Zielke (Doug), Stephen Schneider (Michele) and Christopher Schneider (Lynette); and his sister-in-law Debra. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be directed to the Leukemia Society.
