She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanford Sims and Louvenia Sims (Glover); her daughters, Carolyn Dekeogh and Dinita Sims; her siblings, Cleophus Sims, Eddie Lee Sims, Rosaline Small, Annie Lee Brown and Mary Henderson; and her grandson Israel.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Sims, Darren Sims, Gloria Clark, Darnell Waterford, Timothy Waterford, Kenneth Waterford (Mildred), Matt Waterford (Belinda) and Stephanie Waterford; and her siblings, Sylvester Sims, Fred Sims (Sheila), Ruth Dunomes and Ernestine Sims. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
