It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty J. Phillips (Owosso, Michigan), born in Saginaw, Michigan, who passed away on January 16, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Powell and Vera Powell (Lauer); her husband Stephen Phillips; her grandson Matt Phillips; her great grandchild Adam Beggs; her son-in-law Ron Hickson; and her brother Vern "Bud" Powell.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Phillips (Linda), Michael Phillips, Patrick Phillips (Renee) and Vickie Hickson; her grandchildren, Samantha Bendle (Craig), Cristy Porter (Jeff), Mark Phillips, Andrea Phillips and Tyler Phillips (Kelly); her great grandchildren, Ryan, Emily and Hayley; and her sister-in-law Glenda Powell.
