Carol Jeanne Hunt Obituary

We bid farewell to Carol Jeanne Hunt of Owosso, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 5, 2025 at the age of 80. Carol Jeanne touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Claud Spiess and Flora Spiess (Root); her husband Wayne Forrest Hunt; and her brother Charles Spiess. She is survived by: her children, Tammy Black (Scott), Shane Hunt (Louise) and Lance Hunt; her grandchildren, Stephanie Winslow (Dennis), Cody Black (Sara), Sierra Hunt, Garrett Hunt (Monika), Caleb Hunt, Kylie Church (Bobby), Jake Hunt (Aleah), Jaycen Hunt, Austin Beyerlein (Jenna), Phoebe Beyerlein and Elena Beyerlein; her great grandchildren, Claire, Chole, Mia, Carter, Charlotte, William and Greyson; and her brother Jerry Spiess (Mary). She is also survived by numerous loving sister in laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Nelson-House Funeral Home (120 E Mason St, Owosso, MI 48867). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to The HUB Owosso, R.E.C. " aka Family Life Center" or the Christian Summer Praise in Owosso, make checks payable to Owosso Area Ministerial Association.
