He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Dennis and Georgetta Dennis (Howard); his stepdaughter Vicky Fredell; his nephew Joey Louchart; his grandson Sean Dennis; and his stepgrandson Daniel Luhdorff.
He is survived by: his wife Constance Carter (Sherman); his children, Dan Dennis Jr. (MarBeth), Don Dennis (Stacy), Tim Dennis, Lori Escalante (George) and Chris Mefford (Mike); his stepsons, Doug Sersaw, Fred Sersaw (Jeanette), Greg Carter (Therese), Guy Carter and Jeremy Carter (Lisa Arnett); and his siblings, Jerry Dennis (Georgia), Sharon Thornton (Dave) and Michelle Louchart (Dale). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; 1 great great-grandchild.
