He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleland Beamish and Zona Beamish (Amos); his wife Helene Beamish (Hevelhurst); and his sister Linda. He is survived by: his brother Brent Beamish (Barbara); his children, Michael D. Beamish and Teresa E.; his grandsons, William M. Beamish and Samuel V. Beamish; and his close friend Betty Yanik.
