He was predeceased by: his parents, John Clayton and Iva Clayton (Darling); his wife Susan Clayton; his son Jeff Clayton; and his grandson Jeremy Moore.
He is survived by: his children, Linda DeGood (John), Cindy Clayton and Dean Clayton; and his grandchildren, Jason Moore (Erica), Justin Moore (Megan), Michael DeGood (Sara), Zachary DeGood (Kristi) and Cassandra Brodie (Frederick). He is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association.
