He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Ward and Treva Ward (Schultheiss); his siblings, Raymond, Verland and Maize; his son Johnny; and his pet Nugget.
He is survived by: his children, Al Ward (Jane), Suzie Shaft (Jim), Annette Wilhite (Scott) and Billie Jo Canfield (Don Miller); his daughter-in-law Debi Ward; the mother of his children Joyce Cleveland; and his brothers, Richard Ward and Keith Ward. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
