He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Balcom and Ina Balcom (Reid); and his brother Ronald Balcom. He is survived by: his wife Janet Balcom (McCarthy); his children, Douglas Balcom (Michelle) and Kimberly Wahl (Chris); his brother Darwin Balcom (Marci); his grandchildren, Leslee Balcom, Blake Balcom, Baylee Balcom, Bryce Flanner and Bryan Flanner; his stepgrandchildren, Russell, Ian and Quintin Wahl; and his sister-in-law Judy Mallery. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and close family friends.
