It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Desantis (Owosso, Michigan), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on March 17, 2020, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicolas DeSantis and Bertha DeSantis (Bene); his daughter Kim; and his son-in-law Craig Hale. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth; his brother Jack; his children, Tom DeSantis (Sandy), Rick DeSantis (Rosie) and Cheryl Ward (Rod); his grandchildren, Nick DeSantis (Betsy), Mandy Tanner-DeSantis (Leanne), Rachel DeSantis (Peter), Randi DeSantis (Brian), Renae DeSantis (Sunny), Chris Ward (Mikalah), Samantha Giraud (Devan), Tom Ward (Liz) and Rich Ward (Samantha); and his great grandchildren, Evan, Darien, Reagan, Ryan, Isabell, Vienna, Layla, Grace, Amelia, Noah, Olivia and Cooper.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions are suggested to the Kim and Craig Hale Scholarship Fund, through Corunna High School.
