She was predeceased by: her parents, William Soucie and Ella Soucie (Cording); her husband Harry R. Garrett; and her grandson Taylor Aaron McManus. She is survived by: her children, Clay Garrett (Lucille), George Garrett (Darlene), Betty Melrose (William), Susan McManus (Jeffery) and Shari Struck (Carl). She is also survived by 26 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
