James W. LaRue Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 8, 2022, at the age of 79, James W. LaRue of Owosso, Michigan, born in Grand Haven, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold LaRue and Hazel LaRue (Wood); his parents-in-law, Frank and Mildred Shavrnoch; his siblings, Gerry Hamilton and Richard LaRue; and his nephew William O'Connor.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Shavrnoch; his children, Sarah LaRue, Matthew LaRue (Sarah), Jason LaRue (Shawn Gauthier) and Christopher LaRue (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Chandler, Bailey, Cassidy, Maclean, Jayce, Phoebe, Collin and Emma; his siblings, Kenneth LaRue, Jackie Aylsworth and Sallie Storey; his siblings-in-law, Katherine Knerr and Frank Shavrnoch (Autumn); and his niece Susan Knerr. He is also survived by other loving nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Salem Lutheran Church or Shiawassee County Humane Society.
