She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Harold and Helen Smith (Burke); her husband Leon Russell Maurer; and her brother Roger Schutt. She is survived by: her children, Pam Strauch (Phil) of Owosso and David Maurer (Dianna) of Owosso; her grandchildren, Kevin Maurer (Heidi), Heather Pierce (Tim), Jennifer Wyatt (Dale) and Timothy Strauch (Melissa); her great grandchildren, Landen, Mason, Maelyn, Zarren, Rylen, Tyler and Lucas; and her brother Jerry Buchholz (June).
