Mary Anna Helmer Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 29, 2019, at the age of 89, Mary Anna Helmer (Owosso, Michigan), born in Monticello, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Preston F. McKinney; her husband Edward C. Helmer; her children, Joyce Mathis, Mary Lou Helmer and Robert Helmer; her mother Ada H. McKinney, Sr.; and her siblings, Frank McKinney and Helen Hansen.

She is survived by: her children, Wanda Peterson (Ken) and Joel Helmer (Patricia); her brother Preston McKinney Jr. (Anne); and her grandchildren, Wesley Wildrick (Kelly), Tracy Holst (Tracy), Jennifer Carr (Travis), Jonathon Peterson (Nichole), Sondra Helmer, Tony Rutkiewicz (Lora), Michael Helmer, Elena Vitu (Rob) and David Helmer. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
