He is survived by: his children, Michael Potter, Robert Potter, Donald Potter (Pamela), Daniel Potter (Johanna), Douglas Potter (Casie), Darrin Potter (Barbara), Roberta Potter and Diane Carroll (Robert); and his brother Tom Potter. He is also survived by Several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
