He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry C. McDonald and Cora B. McDonald (Britton); and his brother David McDonald. He is survived by: his children, Trisha Hartley (Benjamin) and Sheldon McDonald; and his siblings, Robert McDonald (Brenda), Richard McDonald (Rose) and Elizabeth Ketchum. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
