He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth R. Crutts and Virginia Crutts (Norris); and his brothers, Ralph and Derrick. He is survived by: his wife Claire E. Owens; his children, Richard Jr., Robert, Kevin Piggott (Melissa) and Julie Ross (Jesse); his grandchildren, Brandon, Trevor, Larissa, Ken, Tad, Chaz, Reese and Maci; and his great grandchildren, Callie and Carli.
In lieu of flowers due to allergies, memorial contributions are suggested to Memorial Cancer Center in Richard's name.
