With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rose Besant (Owosso, Michigan), born in Florence, Alabama, who passed away on November 17, 2019 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Luther Kelley and Virginia Kelley (Hodge); her husband John "Jack" Besant; her sister Shirley Faye Bigham; her children, Jill Welton (Will) of St. Johns, Ginny Besant of Lansing and Paul Hazen (Wendy) of North Branch; her grandchildren, Curtis, Austin Hazen, Felicia, Dylan Welton, Reghan Besant, Skye and Oc'tavion Bowers; and her siblings, Ruth Goodman (Pete), Shirley Lynn Forstner (Bill), George Kelley (Sharon) and Gary Kelley (Kim).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
