She was predeceased by: her parents, George Winkler and Lucille Winkler (Buck); her husband Allen Gute; her daughter Jan Nielsen; and her siblings, Jim Winkler and Mary Hansen.
She is survived by: her sons, William Gute (Laura) of Defiance, Todd Gute (Katherine) of Grand Ledge and John Gute (Rebekah) of Owosso; her grandchildren, Charles Nielsen, Jeremy Gute (Jamie), Alisha Dunn (Robb), Allison Owens (Kiefer), Stephen, Rachel Gute, Brenna and Bryce Gute; her great grandchildren, Joey, Zach Nielsen, Dylan, Peyton Dunn, Kinzie Leaman, Cody and Jason Gute; and her siblings, Mavis Umphenour (K. L.), Tom Winkler (Dohreen) and Pat Winkler (Patricia).
