He was predeceased by: his parents, Marlin Ockerman and Louise Ockerman (Lundy). He is survived by: his wife Doris Ockerman (Mitts); his children, Thomas Jr. Ockerman, Brenda Ockerman, Todd Ockerman, Brad Ockerman and Teresa Dysinger (Tim); and his cousin Richard Ockerman (Pat). He is also survived by Eight Grandchildren; 9 Great Grandchildren.

Per the family's wishes memorial contributions are suggested to American Legion.
