Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved William Kohagen of Owosso, Michigan, born in Pewamo, Michigan, who passed away at the age of 82, on October 10, 2020. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Kohagen and Dorothy Kohagen (Smith); his siblings, Jerry, Richard Kohagen, Anita (Clare Crim) and Peggy (Irv Barnefske); his nephew David; his parents-in-law, Art and Katie Thompson; his brother-in-law Roy Thompson; Eleanor Linzey.
He is survived by: his former spouse Beverly Thompson Dreuth; his wife Bev; his daughters, Kelly Picchietti (Johnny), Pam (Doug), English and Katie Wallen (Dave); his stepdaughter Tracy Walker (Denny); his sons, Mike Barnefske (Dawn) and William Kohagen (Lori); his grandchildren, Shane Barnefske, Aaron Barnefske, Kristi Fisher (Kevin), Jessie Clingerman (Jason), Katy Lo (Hector), Kyle Walker, Brett Wallen, Kerslee Kohagen and A. J. Kohagen; his great grandchildren, Ethan Barnefske, Gentry Clingerman and Amelia Lo; and his brothers, Ed Kohagen (Trish) and James Kohagen (Linda). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
His struggle with Parkinson's is over and now he is dancing and telling "Dad" jokes in heaven. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Shiawassee Humane Society, a cause that was close to his heart.
